I could go on and on about the funny things kids say. I think humor is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. If it weren't for my two kids I don't know how I would make it through the day. Quite some time ago we had been babysitting our pastor's adorable children. Christina, age 6, and Christopher, age 3, were becoming substantially hungry. When we asked them if they wanted a grilled cheese sandwich, Christina immediately said, "Yes!!!" and to our surprise little Christopher, in the sweetest but serious voice said, "I don't want a girl cheese sandwich. I want a BOY cheese sandwich." At that point I quickly complied to the 3 yr old Emeril's request. Bam!!

Funny Stories of Childhood

I'm sure we have all had a embarrasing but hilarious stories from our childhood to tell. I will start off with a cute story of my son. Jordan, was probably 3 1/2 at the time. Living in the humid "Sunshine State" (Florida for those who don't know) my son had been running in and out of the house in just his shorts and no shoes. It was just one of those lazy days of summer. What a surprise for me!! When he came up to me so innocently and held my license plate up in one hand and a screwdriver in the other, covered in grease from head to toe.. "Mommy," he said, "I had to take it off and we need to clean it 'cause it has elbow grease on it." HA HA HAAA!!! It makes you realize that the do have little ears that listen. I do have a picture of him in the tub holding the licene plate and will add once I get it scanned.
